A Plane was spotted airborne during a World Cup match between India and Srilanka in Headingley Stadium.
This incident happened minutes after the match got started. While India was fielding, a small private plane flew over the stadium with a slogan attached to its tail -'Justice For Kashmir'.
This plane was first spotted in the 3rd over with the banner trailed behind 'Justice For Kashmir'.
The second time plane was seen in the 17th over when SriLanka was batting and this time with another slogan 'India Stop Genocide And Free Kashmir'.
It is not yet known who was flying the plane.
During the match, the airspace above and around the stadium was declared No Fly Zone to the non-commercial Aircraft, but with a plane like this flying above the ground is a big Miss in the security of Players.
This is not the first time, A Plane with a banner 'Justice For Balochistan' flew over the same Stadium on 29th of June during Pakistan's match against Afghanistan.
No Knowledge has been observed about the plane so far but the concerned authorities are trying to trace the plane.
ICC has responded to the incident, saying they wouldn't overlook political messages being spread during the World Cup.
"We do not Condone any sort of Political Messages at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup and will work with Yorkshire police to deal with and understand why this has happened and to ensure it does not happen again".
