Dhoni to Retire form International Cricket after World Cup?
Slow innings of Dhoni in world cups are the reason for the question arising multiple times about his retirement.
Birmingham: Speculations and rumors are high on Dhoni's retirement in the ongoing world cup.
Dhoni is by far the most successful captain and wicketkeeper in the history of Indian cricket but as the old-timer says 'Good things have to come to an end one day', and that's the case with every player who represents and plays for his country.
As far as Dhoni's retirement is concerned, he breaks his silence and chats in a press conference - 'Don't know when I will retire'.
Dhoni has been in headlines because of his slow innings in the World cup. His strike rate has been decreasing with every innings he plays.
This is a Goodwill Gesture, a thanking gesture to the various brands he has worked with in his career.
"It's a fact that he has been using different brands with different brandings, but he is not charging them. He wants to say thanks to them for helping him in various stages of his career."
The team management had to take a call in 2017 after the champions trophy. They decided that they will another Two years in Dhoni till 2019 World cup. India reached in the semi-final and lost against Newzealand.
No one can ask him to retire but obviously, he has got the drift that post world cup, things won't be the same.
