He was not happy because of negligence regarding him during the selection of world cup squad.
He takes this decision after Mayank Agarwal was picked into the team as a replacement of Vijay Shankar who was ruled out of the world cup after his Toe injury during the practice session in England.At the start of World Cup, he was declared as standby by BCCI but even after injuries held to Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar, he was unable to board the Flight to England as firstly Rishabh Pant and then Mayank Agarwal was declared as replacements.
After the declaration of 15 member squad for World Cup, Rayudu posted a cheeky Tweet that was directed to the selectors.
Rayudu made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2013, played his last ODI against Australia in Ranchi this year.
Career
Rayudu played 55 ODIs for India, scoring 1649 runs at an average of 47.0 with Three centuries and 10 Half-centuries under his belt.In the 6 T20Is he played, he scored 42 runs.
Rayudu never got the chance to represent his country in Test Cricket.
Last year, Rayudu retired from Domestic cricket to focus more on OIDs and ended his 17 years old career.
Although, Rayudu will keep on playing in the upcoming seasons of IPL and this is positive news to all his fans.
